Things to Do in Colorado

While you're here for the wedding, we encourage you to explore some of the amazing sights and activities that Colorado has to offer! Here are a few of our favorite things to do:

Hike at Chautauqua Park

(5 minutes from Boulder): Take a scenic hike with stunning views of the Flatirons. There are trails for all experience levels, so grab your hiking shoes and enjoy the great outdoors!

Explore Pearl Street

(downtown Boulder): Stroll along this lively pedestrian mall filled with shops, restaurants, and street performers. It’s a great spot to grab a bite, shop for local goods, or just take in the atmosphere.

Drive to Estes Park

(about 45 minutes from Boulder): Head up to the gateway of Rocky Mountain National Park. You’ll enjoy breathtaking mountain views, local shops, and plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities.

Visit Red Rocks Amphitheatre

(about 40 minutes from Boulder): Even if you don’t catch a concert, it’s worth the drive to see this stunning natural amphitheater. Take a short hike around the area and soak in the iconic scenery.

Explore Denver

(about 30 minutes from Boulder): The Mile High City has tons to offer, from world-class restaurants and breweries to a variety of museums, like Meow Wolf, an immersive, mind-bending art experience. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting Denver!

Our Favorite Places to eat

Deli Zone (Valmont Road) (Breakfast): This quick grab-and-go spot is perfect for a casual morning. We recommend calling in your order so you don’t have to wait. Our go-to’s are the breakfast burrito and the Baby Kong breakfast sandwich!

Lucille’s Creole Cafe (Brunch in Boulder): This is a must-visit for brunch lovers! Lucille’s has a cozy, Southern vibe, and we highly recommend the eggs benedict. Don’t forget to order some beignets for the table!

The Buff (Boulder Staple): A classic breakfast and lunch spot in Boulder. You’ll find all your traditional breakfast favorites here, plus a few lunch options. Heads up—weekends can get busy, so if you go after 10:30 am, be prepared for a wait! Don't forget to order the 99 cent mimosas.

Snarf’s (Subs): Whether you’re in the mood for a hot or cold sub, Snarf’s has you covered. It’s one of our go-to places for a delicious sandwich!

Cosmos Pizza (Pizza): Our absolute favorite pizza spot! You can grab a slice on the go or order a whole pie. Whatever you do, don’t forget to ask for the spicy ranch—it’s a must!

Torchy’s Tacos (Tex-Mex): For some real good Tex-Mex, head to Torchy’s. We love their tacos, and don’t forget to order the sangria swirl margarita to go with it!

Pasta Jay’s (Italian in Boulder): This is our absolute favorite spot for Italian! Marissa’s go-to is the baked ravioli, and Mitchell is all about the Diavolo. You can’t go wrong with any of the pasta dishes here!

Bar Taco (Tacos): This is our almost-weekly guilty pleasure. Everything we love is just a tap away on your phone! You can keep ordering throughout your meal until you’re totally full. Our favorites? The guacamole and salsa, Marissa’s cauliflower taco, and Mitchell’s pork belly taco. Don’t forget to order the caipirinha!

Avanti (Pearl Street Food Hall): A trendy food hall just off Pearl Street with an array of different restaurants to choose from. It’s perfect for groups or anyone wanting to try a bit of everything. Plus, the rooftop views are amazing!

Chez Thuy (Vietnamese): Our favorite spot for Vietnamese food! We highly recommend the PHO if you’re in the mood for soup, but if not, try the sesame chicken or kung pao chicken—both are delicious!
